Dublin airport is situated about ten miles from the city-centre, on the north side of the city. It is a relatively small airport compared to the size of the city. When arriving at Dublin airport it is relatively easy to get to the city-centre. Upon exiting the baggage claim, you will see doors straight in front of you which lead to four options for transport into the city.

The first is the taxi rank, which will nearly always have plenty of taxi's to choose from. The fare into the city from the airport is usually between €15-20 , depending on the day in question and time of day. The second travel option is the Aircoach coachs, which are facing the airport exit, directly across the road. This service leaves every fifteen minutes and goes into the city centre. It costs about €5. The third option is the Dublin Bus Airlink Service, which charges €4.50, and leaves to and from Dublin Airport very regularly, finishing in the city-centre. Finally the fourth option is the regular Dublin bus, it is the cheapest option, only costing about €1.45, but it is a regular city bus, so might not be the best option if you have a lot of luggage. The bus stop is to the far left of the arrivals exit. It runs on a schedule which you can read on the bus stop itself, but you shouldn't be waiting more than 20 mins.
